Update:
All PBS ThinkTV channels are now back on the air. They were off the air from 7/5/19 to 7/9/19. Seems longer, doesn't it?

PBS channels 14, 16, & 48 are currently off the air.
Here's an update from ThinkTV's website, posted 7-8-2019...
"Our stations are off the air due to equipment failure in master control. The replacement part has ordered and should arrive Tuesday. We are working to be back on the air as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience".

Thanks for information on OTA of OTA. Any added detail or updates will be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI like the line "we’re not sure when we’ll be back online." :)'Course, back in the earlier days of TV no one would say "online" so when I first read it I thought "What about over the air?"
ReplyDelete...I don't recall yelling at my sister - "get off the landline", and why on earth did we call TV the "boob tube"?
ReplyDeleteAre we in better days?, not that I find new antennas' reception any better I just don't have to go up on the roof to pull back the radials into position after a 40 mph wind or a murder of crows. And that analog reception on the fringe being a nostalgic feeling of holding onto a ghostly being compared to today's digital, fragmented, pixelated - distorted reality.
But hey!, glad it's up and running, no need to distract from a success by starting a discussion of politics on government subsidized PBS - ooops.
