News Bits
Sorry it's been so long since I last posted but then again, there hasn't been much to post about but here's a few quick updates...
CoolTV has been off the air for about a year now and from what I read it had something to do with CoolTV not paying their bills. They went from being carried on approximately 80 OTA broadcast channels around the country to only five at last count. The good news is if you need a CoolTV fix you can get it here TheCoolTV.com/. Just to add, that link has many more broadcast channels than just CoolTV.
In other news there is one new digital station in the Dayton, Ohio market. That would be WLWD which airs on channel 20.1. It's a Daystar broadcast and airs religious programming 24/7.
One more bit of news worth mentioning concerns WWRD channel 32. WWRD is still broadcasting on analog (low power stations such as WWRD must go digital by September 1, 2015 or cease operation) but rumor has it they will soon be going digital. Their channel currently airs the Heartland network and once they go digital they will add RetroTV as a sub-channel on 32.2. Gotta' tell ya' I heard about WWRD finally going digital about three months ago and I'm still waiting. Hope they get there soon.
