This morning WHIO added the Laff TV network to 7.3. If you're not seeing it you'll have to do a rescan on the TV or converter box as we did with our Vizio TV set.
Of course WCPO channel 9 in Cincinnati also added Laff TV as well as Escape TV (9.2) to their line up so here's a 34 second clip of WCPO transitioning from their weather channel to the Escape TV network.
Breaking news for Cinciinati broadcast TV -- our recently revived low-power WOTH now has MOVIES! on 20.1, mostly old movies on 20.2 (no diginet affiliation apparent), AMG TV on 20.3, Tuff TV on 20.4 and a colorful test pattern on 20.5. I'm hoping for something interesting on 20.5 -- perhaps Decades, or Antenna TV.
And the beat goes on -- another new diginet has appeared today! The exciting new Decades channel is now on 20.2, replacing the generic old movies that had been running as a placeholder. The only remaining mystery seems to be this: What will finally appear on 20.5, replacing the colorful test pattern there?
Thanks for this and I'll get those channels added to the Cincinnati line up soon. As you probably know Mr. Elliott Block owns and operates both WBQC (AKA WKRP) and WOTH channels in Cincinnati and he's airing something like 10 or 12 different networks on those two channels. How I wish they were easier to pick up in the Dayton market. Unfortunately, I don't think WOTH will ever come in the Dayton area since we already have a channel 20 on the air.
The part of your comment where you mentioned the "colorful test pattern on 20.5 gave me a mild case of deja vu since back in early 2010 the same thing was done when Elliott's channel WBQC added a channel 25.5. Nothing but colar bars for a few days and then they replaced those with a lot of Classic/retro tv commercials which aired until the actual network (America One, I believe) took over the sub-channel.
